Sensor to detect dirty filter in hydraulic system. If pressure difference across the hydraulic filter is too high, then it indicates a dirty filter. However, if the temperature of the hydraulic fluid is low, then the viscosity is high and the pressure difference appears high. The bimetal disc compensates for the temperature of the hydraulic fluid by applying a force at low temperatures that offsets the pressure difference.
